Salary: Band D SCP 9 - 17 £27,255 - £31,022 per annum pro rata (£21,822 - £24,943 per annum)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Term time + 2 weeks
Fixed term until 21st July 2027 (due to funding)
The Academy
Shireland CBSO Academy is an 11-18 Academy which opened in September 2023. It is the first state school in the country to have a partnership with a professional orchestra. Based in Providence Place, West Bromwich, the Academy will work in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and serve all of Sandwell and the wider West Midlands. The Academy is for all students who have a passion or talent for music – they do not necessarily need to already play an instrument.
