BMS PASTORAL MANAGER

Band D SCP 9 – 17 £27,255 – £31,022 (12 month fixed term contract)

37 Hours per week – 52 weeks
(Including support for alternative timetable to 5.15pm and some Saturday working)

We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Manager to work in our Behaviour Management Service working with individuals and small groups of identified students to improve behaviour, raise attainment/attendance and support outstanding behaviour across the academy.

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated and skilled team; working alongside two very experienced, extremely supportive Senior Pastoral Managers will ensure a successful start for a candidate with the requisite skill and personal drive. This is an exciting time to join an extremely capable pastoral team whose daily work ensures routinely outstanding behaviour in a contextually challenging secondary school.

Above all, applicants require personal drive, enthusiasm and an assertive nature. While prior school experience is desirable, it is not a pre-requisite for success within this role.
